While working a press junket for the world premiere of one of Ben Stiller’s movies, I rode the elevator at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in DC with him. We had a few moments exchange of pleasantries as we bonded over the Monty Python star Michael Palin’s book that I had strapped to my makeup kit. He mentioned he’s a big fan–of Michael.

Ben’s still bringing the zanny laughs in Zoolander 2 which comes out in February 2016. The cast includes Owen Wilson, who I was assigned to do grooming for when The Night at the Museum cast was in town. Owen requested a brand new Burt’s Bees lip balm, which thankfully  Amy Adam’s makeup artist had for me to give him. However, the best part of that night was  working with several members of the cast and the director. The biggest compliment I’ve ever received came from Director Shawn Levy’s young child. She said to her mom (Shawn’s wife) when I’d finished the makeup…

“Mommy you look just like Ariel!”
